Casino games have been designed to be almost entirely luck-based. That’s not a suggestion, that’s a known fact. If you don’t believe me, all you need to do is familiarize yourself with gambling laws in countries where casino is legal (UK, US, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc.), and you’re actually going to see laws that specifically illegalize skill-based gambling. If you own a casino, be it online or not, and you want to add some games to it, all of them need to be primarily luck-based. This may not be the case forever (in fact, a law recently passed in Nevada which would allow skill-based games to be placed in casinos), but for now we should get comfortable with the idea that our wins depend entirely on chance. And before you try to look on the back of the machine, or attempt to wiggle in the source code of the casino, just know that both of these actions are illegal and can get you banned from the casino and most certainly arrested.
What about roulette? This is a game that’s great for strategizing, as it offers literally thousands of ways for you to place your bet. It’s a lot more complicated than playing slots, where you only push a button and let the machine do the math for you. Because of this, many claim that they have invented various roulette strategies, but sadly not all of them work. In fact, when it comes to casino games that can be beaten, there’s only one that comes to mind – blackjack. There are, in fact, several strategies you can use, provided that you learn how to count cards, which can be difficult. Problem is, if you’re caught employing any of them in a physical casino you’ll get thrown out, and you can’t use them online anyway. So don’t rely on strategies when playing casino – if you’re lucky, you’ll win, if not, you won’t. That doesn’t mean, however, that you should abandon all reason. Even if there’s no such thing as a guaranteed win, there’s still smart bets and dumb bets, and the best (and most preferable) thing you can do is learn how to make all your bets smart!
